CHAMPION OF THE FIRST SINING PAMBANSA
Regional Pilot School for the Arts (RPSA) represented REGION IV-A CALABARZON at the FIRST SINING PAMBANSA a project of the Department of Education, held at the City of Pines, Beautiful Baguio. Among the other regions, RPSA managed to take home the bacons of the festival. The Logo Making Contest, Ginoong Lakan, Best in Formal Wear, 2nd Runner-Up in Talent, 2nd Runner-Up in Artistic Costume, Bb. Lakan 2nd Runner-UP, Best in Artistic Costume, 2nd Runner-Up Best in Formal Wear.
Ang Nuno Dance TroupeThe "Ang Nuno Dance Troupe" is derived from the legend of Angono which means the wise old man "nuno" who seems to be always seen at the balite tree. The troupe was formed in 2000 with the goal of preserving Philippine culture and traditions through music, song and dance. It is made up of forty seven high school students of the Regional Pilot School for the Arts.
From an ordinary school dance troupe, which provided color and dance entertainment for the school and community events, this troup blossomed into one of the outstanding and highly successful folkloric dance troupes in the Department of Education today.
This is evidenced by its numerous awards recieved: First Prize winner in the following competitions: 2003 Regional Folk Dance Competition; DTI Cheer Dance Competition and the 2005 APPSSAA Cheer Dance Competition. They won also 2nd Place in the 2005 Regional Sayawit Dance Competition Sta. Cruz, Laguna and 3rd Place in the Regional Folk Dance in Cavite City.
Now on its 5th year of existence, the troupe still continous to awe audiences wherever they perfrom. The dance troupe performs in many national and international events, such as Educators Congress in 2002, the General Assembly of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines in Manila Hotel, the lauching of WOW Philippines in Intramuros, Manila, the 2004 ARDCO General Assembly at the Hotel Nikko, Central Bank Oratorical Contest in Pasay City, the Christmasterpiece "Bayanihang Pasko" in U.P. Theatre and the Sinlaya 2005, the first major concert of the DepEd Cantus Firmus Chorale in Marikina City.

Las Cuerdas de Angono
A Spanish phrase meaning "the strings of Angono" consisting of different instruments such as banduria, rondalla, flute, percussion and other string-based instruments which is formerly headed by the respected , Mr. Jose Romel Gragera. And by the year 2006, Mr. Jim San Juan took down the position. By this year they have a total of 42 students enrolled in this art. As years gone by they have done different successful appearance and performances not only in Angono but also in different parts of the archipelago. They appeared on such events like on PTV 4, NCCA Sining Gising, a musical play entitled "Araw ng Cavite" and a performance at the Supreme Court with Faith Cuneta singing the National Anthem. Ars Noveau Chorale
On the year of 2006, a choral group named “ Ars Noveau Choral” was formed, heading by Mrs. Josenia Gragera Ars. Noveau Choral, a French word for “New Arts”, is to help every students to improve their talents on singing, and to give opportunity to show off their hidden talents. With their different exposures and performances which includes a performance at U.P. Abelardo Hall. Ars Noveau Choral also bagged many awards on its name, one of them is being the Over-All Champion on the Ever Gotesco – Christmas Carol Singing Competition, and Finalist in the National Music Competitions for Young Artists Foundation (NAMCYA) Category B., Solovoice. Teatro Kalayaan
"Teatro Kalayaan" ,a group of theater artists of Regional Pilot School for the Arts(RPSA) ,which was established on July of 2001 was named after Brgy. Kalayaan in the municipality of Angono. The theatre was formerly headed by Mrs. Armelia A. Guranggo as group adviser and a theater arts specialist.Today,Mr. Randy Mariano handles the group.
Teatro Kalayaan has staged various performances including original pieces as thesis productions such as "Komedya: Alay sa Inang Kalikasan(2002)"," Kakaba-kaba, Kabataan(2006)", Sining at Buhay(2007), "Unang Dayuhan(2007)" as well as adaptations of famous plays like "Ramayana(2004) and "Portrait of an artist as Filipino(2002)". They appeared on some cultural -related events like "Wow Philippines" in Intramuros, Manila(2003,2004,2005)and "Concert at the Park" at Luneta Grandstand last May 22 and June 5 of 2005.They were also blessed of handling three sessions with the notable Technical Director, Mr. Arnelio Manzano on the program "Sining sa Eskwela" due to Outreach and Exchange Division at Cultural Center of the Philippines last 2003.They received recognition and award as the Grand Champion on the "Pansangay na Paligsahan sa Sabayang Pagbigkas organized by the Department of Trade and Industry in line with Consumer Welfare Month Celebration. They bagged 3rd and 2nd places in the same competition of different years.(Jann Marlly Alejandro)
